New studies are out concerning the burden of licensing on small businesses. Louisiana ranks number 1 in terms of number of licensed occupations. My favorite part: "States consider an average of 33 days of training and two exams enough preparation for EMTs, but demand 10 times the training—372 days, on average—for cosmetologists."

Ron Paul asks his supporters to play nice in the coming weeks. He's got the delegates to make waves at the convention, so it will be interesting to see what transpires. But I doubt there's anything that could happen to make me even consider Romney. Looks like it'll be the third straight POTUS election in which I don't vote for a major party candidate!
