Daily Link Dump - May 21, 2012

Examples of the Obama administration's kinder, gentler efforts in the War on Drugs.

A teacher in North Carolina got a little upset when a student was critical of President Obama.

Two new teasers:

Skyfall.

And even better: The Master, from Paul Thomas Anderson.

Blade Runner is getting a sequel.

Iran wants to take Google to court for not labeling the Persian Gulf on their maps. Probably punishable by death, I'd imagine.

Woman told she needs to use cash to bail son out, cops steal cash because they believe it's drug money.

Related: Couple fights to keep their motel from being seized because a infinitesimally small percentage of the customers over the last 30 years may have conducted a drug sale.

People on moralistic crusades can be assholes? Color me surprised.

I don't know why they are trying to lift this ban. The federal government hasn't really heeded it much anyway.
